High School Redux?

We had an interesting conversation with Native Girl, today, about blogging etiquette.

Apparently, a blogger who doesn't like us (and has made that clear on this blog), is very upset that NG has a relationship with us- and has gone so far as to remove NG from her blogroll because of it.

In other words, to protest NG's relationship with us, this blogger has chosen to 'punish' NG. In point of fact, this blogger actually, told NG that the reason for her removal from the blogroll was her relationship with us!

Normally, we would find such childish behavior amusing, and better suited for the high school crowd- after all, the offended blogger is not someone we know or have ever had a convesation with. Our only exchanges were in public view on this blog.

Nevertheless, it is fascinating to observe that there are some people that would choose to 'punish' those they purport to befriend, because of an extraneous relationship with a third party.

To us, this is the height of conceit and self absorbtion.

So let us pose a question to you, our wise readers:

You are a regular reader and an email correspondent of NG's Blog. Would you remove NG from your blogroll, if we had a disagreement with you?
