Saudi Humanitarian Concerns

The Saudis have voiced humanitarian concerns, as they relate to the Paris riots.

Arab News has gone out of it's way to express that concern:
RIYADH, 10 November 2005 — Abdul Rahman ibn Hamad, director of scholarships in the Ministry of Education, has reassured Saudi families, amid ongoing violence in France, about the safety of their children who are studying there, Al-Watan reported. He said that the ministry took into consideration the students’ safety and that officials are in direct contact with them. The educational attache at the Saudi Embassy in Paris said there was no direct threat to the safety of the Saudi students.
No word from the Saudis on their concern for the safety of French nationals.

There's only so much humanitarian concern to go around.
