Fausta, France And Failure

Fausta, over at Bad Hair Blog (some people actually remember bad haircuts), has a superb post up, France: Finkielkraut round-up, which is really a classic example of what good blogging can be.

L'Affaire Finkieraut, centers around the remarks of Alain Finkeraut, a French professor, author and philosopher. On that, everyone agrees. From that point on,

This humane intellectual has been dragged into something like a cross between a medieval disputation, the Moscow Trials, and an al Qaeda beheading scene, simply because he deviated from the accepted interpretation of the violence then raging in France…and said it in an Israeli newspaper.

Fausta is quoting from an article by Nidra Pollard. The sin, it seems, was in offering up opinions that were offensive to many, to an Israeli newspaper. That of course, is engaging in the 'dance.' What was so repulsive- and threatening to the french left, is Professor Finkeraut's temerity in discussing the truth about the Muslim riots in Paris. The good professor, is a Jew- and a Jew is precluded from discussing the truth that might embarass the powers that be- and the powers that hold them up for blackmail.

The French left has now joined the French right. Just as all talk of the French Vichy regime collaberation with the Nazis must never be acknowledged, so to must the truth about the Paris riots be ignored. The truth that thousands of Jews were rounded up at the request of the Nazis must never be recognized, can no more be discussed than the Islamic nature of the Paris riots.

Certainly, a Jew, a French Jew, had better not remind those who fly the tricoloeurs of those nasty bits of business.

In yet another (and related) unholy alliance, the French left has agreed not to discuss yet another nasty bit of French history, the war in Algeria. The historical record of French atrocities (those events make American segregation era sins look like a church service) in that country, never fully dealt with or even acknowledged, are sins forgiven- on the condition that France show her support and tolerance for the Muslim cancer in her midst, and even more importantly, France must distance herself from the accursed Jews, an act made palatable with the guidance and zeal of the French left.

Ever true to her nature, France has taken that opportunity to display her duplicity, a trait that has helped earn that country her reputation. The legacy of French Imperialism is one of violence and corruption. Unlike their British counterparts, the French could not even be bothered to leave a viable educational system behind.

Fausta's post is important because she has rounded up links that clearly and definatively put forth, for all to see, the real 'French Connection', a deal with the devil that can no longer be hidden. The shrill, frenzied excoriation of Professor Finkeraut is based on lies, deceit, intimidation and deliberate misrepresentation and mistranslation, all tolerated and even encouraged by the French left and their new found Muslim blood brothers. In an ironic twist, Jews are safer today in Germany than they are in France. Germany has paid the price for her sins, in many ways.

A while back, The Anchoress had a post, Europe Died In Auschwitz, in which she quoted Sebastian Villar Rodriguez. With apologies to The Anchoress, I will publish Villar Rodriguez' words here, taken from her post:

We also have exchanged culture with fanaticism, the capacity to create with the will to destroy, the wisdom with the superstition. We have exchanged the transcendental instinct of the Jews, who even under the worst possible conditions have always looked for a better peaceful world, for the suicide bomber. We have exchanged the pride of life for the fanatic obsession of death. Our death and that of our children.

What a grave mistake that we made!!!

The French have indeed made the deal with the devil of Islamism. French radicals that have given birth to these value systems of hate, will villify and nurture the objects of their obsessions, even further.

European Jews and free peoples everywhere, be warned. Liberte, Fraternite, Egalite, have an entirely different meaning than they once did.
