SC&A Vents, Part Two

This post will our last vent on the matter of immigration, border security and politics. When we are done here, we will return to our insightful regular posts (the ones most of you gloss over because they are either too long or too boring).

We decided to write two rants, because most of you cannot deal with too many ideas and concepts at one. Most of you are idiots. All one has to do is look at who gets elected to Congress to confirm the validity of that remark. Notwithstanding what you believe, you are not special, exceptional or talented in way, shape or form. Neither are your children. If you want special kids, you actually have to parent and care. You need to understand that wearing someone else's name on a pair of $200 jeans is idiotic. You have to understand that spending $5.00 for a cup of coffee at Starbucks does not make you cool- it makes you stupid enough to spend $5.00 for a cup of coffee- just so you can speak 'Coffee'- you know, "I'll have a double double, light with a diuretic, please." Think about that- you're paying $5.00 to speak 'Coffee.' Idiots. What exactly do you think you're teaching your kids?

On to business.

Hispanic immigrants come here for the same reason your grandparents or great grandparents came here- to work, because with a little work, the streets in America really are 'paved with gold.' The vast majority of Hispanics who come here- illegally, yes- do not come to get onto welfare rolls. They come to work. Further, they work as hard as your grandparents or great grandparents did. Take a look at the back breaking work they do, every day. Now close your eyes and imagine that was your grandparent or great grandparent. How dare youdisrespect those that come to work! How dare you belittle those who want a future for themselves and their families! Your sorry ass is here only because they came here and worked their assess off- not for themselves, but for their children andgrandchildren.

Do you think that those Irish, Italian and Jewish immigrants didn't know they were 'out of place' in America? Do you think they didn't know that some of their children, when young, were foolishlyembarrassed by their 'out of place' and working class families? That didn't matter of course, the immigrants came and worked their asses for their children and grandchildren, so they might have a future. That future was you. How proud do you think they would be if they knew and saw and what a bigoted idiot you were?

Illegal aliens send money they earn at back breaking jobs back home- that is true. Isn't that the kind of character we want from people who come here? Aren't those the kind of neighbors we want, those who actually gives a damn about family and others beside themselves?

There was a time when hospitals were built by the community and not by governments or health-care corporations. They were built with one and two dollar at a time donations, by thousands of poor, working class immigrants. Why? Because they wanted to give something back to the community and nation that gave them the chance to succeed. Hospitals and other social service organizations were funded by Jews, Italians, Irish, Lutheran and other groups of immigrants were the pride of their communities.

Those immigrants didn't need John Kennedy to tell them what they needed to do for their newly adopted country. Those who claim the legacy of Kennedy have become the crybabies that demand their country do for them, whatever and whenever they want. They are not fit to be called liberals and they are not fit to invoke the Kennedy's name. In the great scheme of things, they have become garbage, waving the flags of repression and supporting evil and non democratic states- with not even the intent of bringing democracy to those that are enslaved. The few real liberals are shamed by what passes for liberalism today in the same way the few real conservatives today are shamed by what passes for conservatism today.

All the while, Hispanics face plenty of discrimination. Just like Jews, Italians and Asians before them. Even worse, we expect less of them, thanks to the liberal ideologues that have found reasons to justify failure. It wasn't enough that Black America was victimized by the left. Now, the Hispanic community isn't quite good enough. Sorry lefties, that's another disaster you have foisted on America- 'the velvet discrimination of lowered expectations.' as George Bush called it. Blacks and Hispanics just aren't smart enough or good enough, right?

Building a wall and defending borders are not a response to illegal aliens already here- it is a response to terror. That is a reality that illegal aliens have to live with. Americans have the same right to wave and rally around their flag and rally as much as anyone else and they have the right to defend themselves and their borders. If Mexico City or Toronto were attacked by terrorists that crossed into those countries from the US, you can be sure that Mexico and Canada would tighten things up. This isn't rocket science and if you think that isn't so, you are an idiot.

Remember this: those who are here illegally will have to pay all back taxes and a fine to qualify to get in line for a chance at citizenship. There are no free rides being offered, so get off your high, self righteous, phony horse. There are aliens that have given their lived for this country and thousands more in harms way. Ask anyone on active duty in the military if their legal status makes them less worthy to defend this nation.

Finally, a few words on politics.

As The Anchoress recently said (succinctly and beautifully), the President leads the entire nation and responds to the needs of the nation and not just his electoral base. Conservative demands the President respond to partisan needs ahead of the needs of the nation, are absurd. As The Anchoress noted, that idea and demand loses a lot of luster when when there is a Democrat in the White House.

In addition, Bush isn't Hitler, no matter now much fringe liberals want that to be so. There have been no to be so- see to those idiots who want our troops out of Iraq. As we have noted, 'There aren’t millions of people in concentration camps, put their for their beliefs or ethnicity. There aren’t people being rounded up, never to heard from again, as much as you wish for all those things to be true- so you can say George Bush is Hitler. You pray for all of those things to be true, don’t you? Wouldn’t it be wonderful if all those terrible things came to pass? That you make those references speaks volumes about you.'

It also bears repeating that real liberals have contributed mightily to this country. Patrick Moynihan was a patriot and an example of what makes America great. If you don't know who he was, learn. FDR was a great American- it is a shame hislegacy has been tarnished by his inheritors. He led this nation through the depression and WW2. He brought electricity to millions and had the foresight to see the possibilities. On the other side, Dwight Eisenhower ties this country together by demanding an starting an interstate highway system. Ronald Reagan shaved decades off the Cold War. Disagree? Ask the people in of Poland and Czechoslovakia.
