“Yeah, Well America Influenced Saddam And Middle East Policy”

From the post Six Day War era (1967 onward), the United States had no real relations with Iraq until 1984, and even then those relations were limited until the overthrow of the Saddam Hussein regime.

American military aid to Iraq between 1973 and 2002 was equal to that of Libya.

There are those who would have you believe that the US, who supplied less than 1/2 of 1%military aid to Saddam's regime, wielded more influence than the USSR, France and China.

Brilliant analysis, indeed.
