Hamas: Willing To Kill For God, Unwilling To Die for God
Western and Arab media routinely provide images of long lines of thousands upon thousands of volunteers willing to kill Israelis and Jews at a moments notice. Whenever terrorists attack innocents, England, France, Denmark, Sweden, Israel or Spain, they are hailed and celebrated as brave fighters in Arab and Muslim capitals all over the world.
The minute those same 'fighters' are killed or prevented from their carrying out their beast-like behavior, they become innocent 'victims' of evil 'oppressors', as if preventing terror is an act of evil. Those who choose to rain evil down on others become offended- and weak- when those whom they attack defend themselves and fight back.
Well, you can't have it both ways. You are martyr or you are a victim. You can't say you will happily kill for God but y0u are not willing to die for God. Is Islam so weak that no one is willing to die for it?
Everyday throughout the Arab world, the message is clear: It is Allah's will that the infidels be subjugated and subjected to all kinds of degradation. That message is hammered home in schools, in media and from the pulpit. There is no shortage of those willing to kill for Allah- there is only a curious lack of souls willing to die for him.
Those who celebrated the events of 9/11 and acts of terror as a 'victory for Allah' cannot claim victim status or persecution when the inevitable retaliation manifests itself.
Those who voted for Hamas knew very well their ideologies and genocidal intent. It isn't as if those ideas were couched and hidden away. Hamas political ideology is predicated on genocide and the subjugation of the infidels. Hamas 'clerics' whip crowds into a frenzy announcing how much they love and desire death and proclaim the ascendency of an Islam that will dominate it's foes. Those same clerics extoll those who would wage Jihad for hiding behind women and children or use hospitals and kindergartens as places in which to hide or store weapons or fire rockets on innocent civilians. The moment the prospects of death or retaliation becomes a reality, the poor and innocent victim emerges.
Israel and the west will continue to progress and move ahead. The Palestinians and much of the Arab world will continue to founder in the cesspool of history, burying ever deeper the history of Arab and Islamic culture. Islam once showcased Mosques of great architecture and art, in a time that has long been (deliberately) forgotten. Islamic houses of worship today are defined by cold, stark and drab buildings that offer no warmth. That coldness is a trademark of modern Islam. Where there was once literature and art, there is now an aversion to prose and poetry that does not reflect hate and bigotry. The once vibrant colors of Islamic art have been replaced with black and white- punctuated with blood red.
Hamas is repressive and oppressive. It is now theri brand of radical Islam that demands uniformity of thought and demands that self expression be expunged- unless it is approved self expression.
Real religion provides a sense of order and an environment to grow and the ability to adapt to an ever changing world. The radical Islam of Hamas, et al, provide only chaos and an environment of fear and repression.
Notwithstanding their claims to 'holiness', Hamas disregards God.
Real religion encourage and demands that we upset the status quoand challenge the current state of affairs so as to better ourselves and the world around us. Real religion encourages and demands peace, not genocide. Hamas fears peace and change because real peace and change will usurp them of power.
Hamas cannot abide that kind of growth and that kind of challenge. They cannot- and will not- accept that God made room for all kinds of believers and non believers. They cannot accept that free will has no fine print attached to it. It is not just about the dominence of Islam- it is about the dominence of the Hamas brand of Islam.
Hamas is bound and determined to kill God and replace Him with a sock puppet. The real God of believers does not resemble the false gods of Hamas.
There are those who may be willing to kill for a false god. It should come as no surprise that no one is willing to die for one.
